Develop understanding in the Concepts of Rhythm

Using the drum kit, students learn key rhythmic concepts. Playing on the beat, 4^th 8^th notes, and the role of the bass, toms, snare drums and hi hats 4^th 8^th notes, syncopation, the effect of tempo, textures and building rhythms.
